Throwing caution to unpredictable February winds, MLA-Phil is gallantly attempting a gathering at Philadelphia's Yard's brewery.
Some of you probably saw planning emails that hinted at possible January dates, so pay attention to this first Friday in February date: 3F! Maybe this will be a new tradition!
This is a 1.5 hour (depending on the questions!) tour and tasting with refreshments included. Dinner is optional to anyone who wants prolong the revelry! We'll take a poll at the end of the tour to decide on that.
Fee: $20, MLA-Phil and SLA members; $30, non-members. No cap on attendance (but minimum of 10) so let's bust the joint wide open!

Here's what Yard's has to say about transpo: Parking is available at the brewery and on surrounding streets, but for many reasons (legal and environmental), we encourage you to consider public transportation, especially if you plan on imbibing our fine products. SEPTA's Market Frankford Line stops a few blocks away at Spring Garden Street. And the #43 and #25 busses drop you practically at our doorstep. If cycling is your game, we are located directly on the East Coast Greenway and have ample bike lock stations outside. There is also an Indego bike station located just outside the brewery!
